PM-KISAN Scheme: How Does It Benefit Farmers In UP, Other States? Details Inside

PM Kisan Scheme is a scheme with 100% funding from the Central government. It came into function from December 1, 2018. This scheme offers an amount of Rs 6000 per year in equal instalments.

The instalment goes in three stages. This means an amount of Rs 2000 will be given in every fourth month. This is provided to the beneficiaries. The identification process for the farmers, who are eligible under this scheme is conducted by State government and UT.

The funds allotted will be directly transferred into the account of beneficiaries. Farmers from all states in the country can get benefit from the Centre based PM Kisan Scheme.

Similarly, Farmers from Uttar Pradesh gets benefit from the scheme. There are total 2,25,72,533 beneficiaries from Uttar Pradesh. The total amount of 4,980.88 crore has been distributed in UP under the scheme.

The scheme provides income support to the farmers. The amount of Rs 6000 is distributed to beneficiaries but not in one go.

For this scheme, small farmers are eligible. Farmers families which hold cultivable land can apply for this scheme. The beneficiary who is applying for this scheme should be Indian.

Recently under the 18th instalment of the scheme over 9.4 crore farmers in the nation will be getting Rs 20,000 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer. The scheme will also benefit farmers in Uttar Pradesh.

  1. Aadhaar Card
  2. Proof Of Citizenship
  3. Proof of land ownership
  4. Bank Account details

How To See Status of Beneficiary of PM-Kisan Scheme

To see whether they are receiving the amount or not, the farmer can do the following things to check the status:

  1. For checking the status, one need  to visit official sit of https://pmkisan.gov.in/
  2. After this step, one need to click on the ‘Beneficiary status’. This option can be seen under Farmer’s corner
  3. In the end, one need to enter the Aadhaar Number and registered mobile number to login and check the status of it.
