CM Punk departed WWE in 2014, but shocked the world with his return in November 2023 to great fan appreciation. But one fellow who was not pleased with his return was Seth Rollins. Rollins has been relentless in targeting Punk ever since he came back, unleashing insults and public shaming.
To date, Punk and Rollins have had two singles bouts, with one win apiece. Earlier this year at WrestleMania 41, the two were involved in a triple threat bout with Roman Reigns. Rollins emerged victorious in that bout, mainly due to interference from Paul Heyman, with whom Rollins is now aligned.
In recent times, Seth Rollins brought his frustration to a completely new level with a fiery interview.
What Did Seth Rollins Say About CM Punk?
In a recent appearance on the āUp & Adams Show,ā Rollins was asked about CM Punk. His response shocked fans.
āCM Punk is not good for our business. Heās a bad guy,ā Rollins stated.
āI beat him at WrestleMania 41, and I donāt want him anywhere near the Money in the Bank contract.ā
Rollins didnāt stop there.
āIāve worked with Punk for a long time, and I donāt even want him in my āwind spaceā. I want him out of WWE,ā Rollins added, making it clear he has no respect left for Punk.
Rollins has repeatedly accused Punk of being toxic and disruptive and has shown no signs of letting up.
CM Punk Gets Yet Another Setback on WWE Raw
On the recent episode of WWE Raw, CM Punk received yet another serious setback courtesy of Rollins and his colleagues.
While participating in the final match, a Money in the Bank qualifying match between AJ Styles, CM Punk, and El Grande Americano, Punk was about to emerge victorious when out of nowhere were Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, who attacked him.
Consequently, Americano secured the victory.
After the match, Rollins accompanied Breakker and Reed to unleash mayhem. They assaulted Punk, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso. Rollins administered a series of Stomps, whereas Reed struck Jey Uso with two forceful Tsunami maneuvers.
Again, CM Punk found himself battered, with Seth Rollins in the middle of the melee. Now the question remains: how will Punk respond?
