OnePlus is all set to launch its compact flagship, the OnePlus 13S on June 5. The phone would be launched with several new AI features and a new key that would enable easier overall use and streamlined functioning. The smartphone would be powered by the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The phone would be a rebranded version of the already launched OnePlus 13T the Chinese cousin to India bound 13S.
The 13S would be launched in three colorways namely Black, Velvet Pink Satin and Green Silk. The phone gives abandons the traditional circular camera module that was previously seen on the OnePlus 13S and OnePlus in favor of a large rectangular setup.
No More Alert Slider
A new upgrade that has been a part of the contention would be the alert slider that is now being changed into an AI assisted key. The tactile feel of the sliding key apparently had an extensive fanbase and over the years users grew quite an inclination towards the slider. But now OnePlus has shifted to a programmable key that would further aid in overall everyday functions. The key would be used to trigger the OnePlus AI plus mind which would capture all the onscreen content and analyze it for future reference.
A Slew Of New Ai Features
OnePlus is further planning to equip the phone with a slew of new Ai features with the OnePlus 13S these would include Ai Voice Scribe, Ai Translation, Ai Search, AI Reframe, and a AI best face feature as well. Other features of the phone would include a 32 MP auto-focus shooter instead of the 16MP shooter seen in the Chinese variant.
The OnePlus 13S would feature a 6.32 inch display, with a 1.5K 88LTPO AMOLED screen as per leaks. The display would be capable of a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness capability of 1600 Nits. The Device would also support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 Storage. It’s also expected that the phone would be equipped with IP65 water and dust resistance, and oxygen OS 15 on Android 15. The OnePlus 13S would come with a dual camera setup with a primary IMX906 sensor with OIS, 50MP 2x telephoto lens. Its possible that the phone might be priced around Rs 55,000 in India.
