रेखीय संवेग का संरक्षण:
यदि निकायों की प्रणाली पर कार्यरत शुद्ध बाह्य बल शून्य है, तो प्रणाली का संवेग स्थिर रहता है।
रेखीय संवेग को गणितीय रूप में निम्न प्रकार से व्यक्त किया जाता है:
